Meet Arbor!

Arbor is one of the most unique and special dogs we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He has shown us how strong and resilient he is in a myriad of ways and he continues to grow and surprise us everyday.

Arbor is almost ready to move on to the next stage of his journey and find his forever family. His seizures are under control and he is on the right regimen of medications for his Hydrocephalus. Arbor’s foster family adore him of course, but they know there is a home out there who can give him even more time and affection – and Arbor deserves all of the love and attention in the world.

Arbor’s perfect family will be home most of the time, and have a yard for him to access easily. They will be exceedingly patient, as Arbor takes longer to learn things than other dogs. They should be physically strong enough to assist a BIG boy when he needs it and emotionally strong enough to provide frequent daily snuggles. Experience with blind dogs is an asset, but not a requirement. Arbor will not be adopted out of state, so California applicants only please.

Arbor will go home on a foster-to-adopt contract with the family who is chosen to adopt him. This way, ISWMP can continue to support and make medical decisions for Arbor over the next few months until we are 100% sure he is getting exactly what he needs medically and what his future medical needs may look like.

If you are interested in adopting, please use the button below to pay the application fee. Once the fee is processed you will get a link for Adoption Application Form will appear on the screen.

Please be advised that there is a $10 non-refundable application fee that serves as a donation to our foundation.
