Meet Dot!
Dot is an adorable, dainty little girl with the sweetest soul and the cutest little “meerkat” stance you’ve ever seen! At just 9 months old and 8.5 pounds, she’s the perfect petite size for cuddles, travel, and cozy nights on the couch. With her short tan coat and expressive eyes, Dot may be tiny, but her heart is full of love.
Rescued alongside her siblings and cousins from the Victorville shelter, Dot has been gently learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. She’s still a bit shy at first, but she’s coming out of her shell more every day. Once she feels safe, her sweet and quiet personality truly shines.
Dot would thrive in a home with another playful, confident dog who can continue to show her the ropes and help build her confidence. She does well with other dogs and older kids who understand her gentle nature. She has not been tested with cats yet, but would likely be fine with them. Because Dot is still young, she’ll need a family committed to providing regular exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation to help her grow into her best self.
She is house-trained (uses pee pads or will potty outside in a secure yard), and crate-trained (she loves her crate — it’s her safe space!)
Dot isn’t quite ready for leash walks yet, so a home with a secure yard would be ideal while she continues building confidence. With patience, love, and positive reinforcement, she will continue to blossom beautifully.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving little companion who just needs a bit of encouragement to shine, Dot may be your perfect match.
