Meet Nala!
Nala is a loving, affectionate “lap dog” who doesn’t quite realize she weighs 85 pounds. Full of energy, she enjoys being active and is great on a leash. Nala knows basic commands like sit and shake, and she’s very trainable. Originally obtained from a breeder, her previous owners shared that she is a purebred Cane Corso. As the “runt” of her litter, she’s a bit smaller than typical Cane Corsos, but she’s absolutely stunning with her light brown eyes and dark shading around her face and ears.
Nala adores people and is happiest when she’s close to her humans, following them from room to room because she doesn’t want them out of her sight. Although her previous owners kept her as an outdoor ‘guard’ dog, Nala is far from a fierce protector—though intimidating to look at, she’s more likely to show her belly to strangers than to attack them. She would thrive as the only dog in a home, especially if she can soak up lots of attention from a big family. However, she could also get along well with other well-tempered dogs her size who enjoy playing.
Since transitioning from outdoor life about a month ago, Nala has been having the time of her life, enjoying all the love, attention, walks, and air-conditioning that come with being an indoor dog. She’s learning to fetch and has a great time destroying any toys put in front of her!
Nala is up to date on all her vaccines, spayed, chipped, and all her medical records are available.
