Shelter to Soldier is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that adopts dogs from local shelters and rescue organizations and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other injuries associated with traumatic service experiences. An average of 20 veterans lose their lives to suicide every day in the United States. “Saving Lives, Two at a Time.™”

C.A.S.A. is a group of dedicated individuals supporting local initiatives and sustainable solutions towards issues of conservation and animal welfare.

Their immediate goals are to rescue animals at risk of illnesses and ultimate death currently living or being dumped on the streets of Bali.

Orangutan Information Center (OIC) is a Medan based NGO, aims to conserve and protect orangutans and their forest homes in Sumatera. In September 2017, after many years of searching for the perfect land for their rescue and conservation centre, SSBT were fortunate enough to be offered 5.3Ha in Bukit Lawang, 3 hours west of Medan in Sumatra. The land will be perfect to allow the rescued Sun Bears to be able to behave like bears in the forest; to be able to climb, forage and rest.

Bukit Lawang is located on the edge of the Gunung Leuser National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is home to abundant mammal, plant and bird species- including Sun bears.

Jakarta Animal Aid Network otherwise known as JAAN was established in February 2008 by Femke den Haas, Karin Franken and Natalie Stewart as a central place people could contact/report cases of animal abuse or find out information about animal welfare in Indonesia.

JAAN operates solely on donations from individuals and does not receive any financial support from the government.
