Meet Maverick!
Maverick is a 2.5 month old german shepherd mix who currently weighs about 7 pounds. He’s a sweet, playful puppy with a curious personality. While he’s always ready to wrestle with his siblings or explore something new, he’s just as happy curling up for cuddles when playtime is over. Maverick is currently being fostered with his littermate, Goose, along with other dogs and a cat, and has done well with everyone. He even takes bath time in stride, making him an easy puppy to have around.
Like any young puppy, Maverick is still learning the ropes. He’s making great progress with his potty training and crate training and will continue to thrive with a family that’s committed to helping him grow into a confident, well mannered adult. He does get a little carsick, so his future family should be prepared to help him build positive experiences with car rides.
Maverick is expected to be a large breed dog, so he’s looking for a family that’s ready for all the fun, adventure, and responsibility that comes with raising a german shepherd puppy. With continued training, socialization, and plenty of love, Maverick is going to make an incredible lifelong companion.
