This beauty loves EVERYONE she meets…all you have to do is look in her direction! She’s such a strong gal, as she fully recovered from anal and vaginal prolapses. While she’s fully potty trained, she does need to be taken out every four hours or so. She loves being outside and is very good on leash. She’s also obsessed with watching squirrels!

Hudson would probably do best in a home with a female dog, as he has been a little bit bossy with his bigger, male foster dog brother. This is something that he is working on, so any potential adopter with a male dog should be prepared to continue his training with this. He gets along well with the female dogs in his foster home! He also seems to be unbothered by cats. Oh, and he loves all humans — especially kids!

Captain aka “Cappy” came to us from the South LA shelter where he had his eye removed after an apparent accident. Though he is still learning to trust and overcome the trauma, he is a sweet little cuddle bug. Cappy is eager to please, and has learned his “sit” and “wait” commands.

Captain is fully house-trained and has been sleeping in his crate overnight. He will often go into his crate for naps on his own, as it’s his safe space to relax and feel cozy.

Cappy commutes daily to work at a horse farm with his foster and her 2 other dogs. He’s a gentlemen around the horses and has adjusted well to loud tractors and other large farm machinery. He used to be scared of cars and street noises- he’s come SUCH a long way.

Captain is always game for a hike or just a stroll around the neighborhood, where he is eager to meet other dogs, large or small. He fits in well with a pack, or would be fine flying solo.

Cappy has a big personality in a little package and blossoms more and more every week! He wants to learn and appreciates boundaries, so we recommend an adult-only home or a home with older kids. We are thrilled to be able to find Captain the loving, forever home he deserves!
