Hope is the definition of a gentle, easygoing companion. If we had to describe her in three words, they’d be kind, happy, and affectionate.

With her calm, low-energy personality, Hope enjoys leisurely walks and is a dream on leash. She never pulls and is much more interested in stopping to sniff than worrying about other dogs. She’s been sweet and submissive with the dogs she’s met and continues to grow more confident as she settles in. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, her gentle nature suggests she may do well with them.

Hope is both house-trained and crate-trained, knows sit, stay, and come, and has wonderful manners around the house—even at mealtime. She loves being petted, brushed, and spending quiet time with her people.

Bianca absolutely adores people and greets everyone she meets with a happy heart and wagging tail. She lives to make her humans happy and is incredibly affectionate, always ready to soak up love and attention.

She’s a smart cookie who is potty and crate trained, enjoys her daily walks, and is very food and treat motivated, making her eager to learn and easy to work with. Bianca also loves playing with her toys—and unlike many pups, she actually takes great care of them instead of tearing them apart!

While Bianca hasn’t had the chance to meet any dogs in her foster home yet, she did well with other dogs while at the shelter. We’re still learning how she does with cats, but she’s already proven herself to be a loving, well-mannered companion. She can happily entertain herself when needed, but she’s happiest spending time with her people.

Martha is a gorgeous 4-month-old pit bull mix with beautiful hazel-green eyes and a personality to match. At about 25 lbs, she’s sweet, affectionate, and always happy to hand out hugs and kisses.

Like any puppy, Martha is still learning the ropes. She already knows “sit” and is eager to learn more. She’s very food motivated, which makes training fun, and with consistency and patience, she should catch on to potty training quickly. She enjoys going for walks, playing independently with her toys, and curling up for a well-earned nap afterward.

Martha settles nicely in her crate and is generally quiet, only barking if another dog starts the conversation first. She has done great meeting other dogs so far, and every interaction has been positive. She’s looking for a family that’s ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s already showing herself to be.

Clementine is a 4-year-old long-haired Chihuahua weighing just 9 lbs. She was a wonderful mama to her puppies, but now she’s looking for a family where she gets to be the center of someone’s world.

Clementine came to us scared and unsure, but she’s been settling so nicely into her foster home. She’s happiest when she’s close to her people, whether that’s curled up in your lap, being held, or simply following you from room to room. She isn’t a fan of the crate, but she’s done a great job learning a potty routine with very few accidents.

Hazel is the type of dog who fits effortlessly into family life. She’s house-trained, spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, and likely kids and cats. She’s confident without being pushy, affectionate without being clingy, and simply enjoys being wherever her people are.

Whether you’re heading out for a morning hike, exploring a new trail, or relaxing at home after a long day, Hazel is happiest by your side. She has excellent recall, isn’t reactive, doesn’t struggle with separation anxiety, and takes life’s little surprises in stride. She’s truly the kind of dog you can bring just about anywhere.

Her foster describes her as having no red flags—which is about the highest compliment a rescue dog can receive!

Hazel was recently diagnosed with early-stage pannus, an immune-mediated condition that affects the corneas and can lead to vision loss. She’s doing great on daily Optimmune eye medication, which she’ll likely continue long-term. It’s a simple part of her routine that helps keep her eyes healthy, and it certainly doesn’t slow her down from enjoying hikes, adventures, or soaking up every moment with her family.

At 41 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy who is just as happy exploring a hiking trail as she is curling up beside you for a relaxing afternoon.

Maisie truly loves being with her people. She greets new friends with a wagging tail, happily gives hugs, and has a knack for making everyone feel like they’ve known her forever. She’s incredibly affectionate without being overwhelming and simply wants to be included in whatever you’re doing.

Maisie walks nicely, enjoys getting out for daily adventures, and is non-reactive around other dogs, making outings together a breeze. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but she would do wonderfully with older children (10+) who can match her playful enthusiasm. Because she’s such an affectionate greeter, she may accidentally knock over little ones with her excitement.

Like many food-loving pups, Maisie has one very relatable weakness—snacks! She’s a talented counter-surfer if given the opportunity, so she’ll need to be crated or supervised during meal prep and continue practicing good kitchen manners. With consistency and a little training, she’ll thrive.
