Sweet, loyal, and fun-loving, Bernice is ready to find a home where she can keep learning, playing, and sharing her big heart.

A yard, other large dogs, a family that is active and can devote the attention and the energy he needs.

Meet Tucker!

A beautiful boy with two colored eyes, Tucker has the sweetness of a Lab but the energy of a Husky! He loves to play, run, walk, go for car rides (especially to the dog park). He will chase cats if they run but at the same time, keeps sniffing a cat who scratches him in the nose every time! Tucker thinks he’s a lap dog but he is really very large, very strong and very tall!

He has an amazing sense of smell and can spot out animals on a walk before the humans can.

Tucker is ready to find a family that can dedicate the time and energy that he needs. He’s super duper sweet and let’s the children do whatever they want to him, he just loves the attention.

Please contact Debbie W at (310) 795-8601 if you want to learn more about adopting him.

Meet Winky!

Winky is a gentle little Pekingese mix with a heart full of love and a story that makes him all the more special. After losing one eye and becoming blind in the other, Winky is bravely learning how to navigate the world again—and he’s doing it with quiet resilience and a whole lot of sweetness.

He’s a low-energy companion who would much rather be curled up in your arms than running laps around the yard. In fact, cuddling is his absolute favorite activity—he truly lives for being close to his person.

Winky can be a little shy when meeting new people but with a bit of patience and a gentle approach, he warms up and settles in. Given his blindness, he just needs a little extra time to feel safe and understand his surroundings.

On walks, he’s incredibly easy to handle—he takes things nice and slow, stopping to sniff and take in the world at his own pace. While Winky does well passing other dogs on walks and is generally unbothered by them outside, he will probably do best as the only dog in the household.

Winky would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue to adjust and build trust. In return, he’ll give you endless affection, quiet companionship, and the kind of bond that only a truly special dog can offer.

If you’re looking for a loving, low-key cuddle buddy who just wants to be close to you, Winky might be your perfect match.

Meet Pippa!

Pippa is about 10 months old and weighs around 23 pounds. She came to us from the shelter a little shy, but as she’s settled in, her sweet personality has started to shine.

Pippa does best with calm energy and appreciates when people let her approach on her own terms. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes very affectionate. She loves curling up next to you on the couch, happily flips over for belly rubs, and sometimes buries her face in your lap for extra snuggles. It’s incredibly sweet watching her confidence grow.

She gets along well with other dogs and seems especially comfortable around calm dogs who give her space. She’s curious about play and is starting to show her puppy side with little zoomies and play bows. Plush toys are her favorite and she loves carrying them around and gently chewing on them.

Pippa is crate trained, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and walks right in when it’s time for bed. She is also potty trained and has been very easy in the home.

Pippa is still learning that the world is a safe place and will do best with a patient adopter who lets her move at her own pace. With a little time and reassurance, she becomes deeply loyal and affectionate. Watching her blossom has already been really special, and we know her future family is going to love her.

Meet Quinn!

Quinn is a 3-month-old male Australian Cattle Dog puppy with the most adorable Merle and tricolor coat and the sweetest little “teddy bear” face. At about 9 lbs and growing, this courageous boy has a soft, soulful personality that melts hearts instantly.

Quinn is a curious, slightly cautious puppy who takes a moment to observe the world before jumping in—but once he’s comfortable, his playful side comes out. He enjoys romping around with his siblings and exploring toys, but he’s just as happy curling up in a cozy spot for a nap. With his calm nature and thoughtful little expressions, Quinn often looks like he’s quietly studying everything around him.

One of Quinn’s favorite things is snuggling up somewhere warm—whether it’s next to a friend, a blanket, or even his pig buddy. His gentle personality and easygoing attitude make him a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loving and relaxed pup.

Like any young puppy, Quinn is still learning the basics. He isn’t completely house-trained yet, but he and his siblings are already starting to learn potty training and are doing great sleeping through the night inside the crate. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Quinn will grow into a loyal and devoted best friend.

Quinn is up to date on vaccines and gets along well with dogs, kids, and even pigs. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm puppy with a cuddly side and a heart full of love, Quinn might just be your perfect match.

Come meet this gentle little “bear” and see if Quinn is the missing piece your family has been waiting for!

Meet Chocolate and Comet!

Chocolate and Comet are a bonded pair of 6-year-old Cocker Spaniel mixes with the sweetest souls and the softest, snuggliest personalities. We rescued these handsome black-and-gold boys from the Palmdale shelter, and they’ve quickly proven to be absolute dream houseguests.

Each weighing about 23 pounds, these low-rider pups have long bodies, short legs, beautiful flowing coats, and the most expressive faces—complete with adorable golden eyebrows that make every look melt your heart.

Chocolate is the slightly more confident of the two, happily greeting new people and exploring the world with a curious spirit. Comet is a bit more sensitive, especially about being picked up, but he feels secure when his brother is nearby and will happily trot along by your side if you gently guide him with a leash.

Both boys are incredibly sweet, calm, and affectionate. They love squeaky toys, cozy couch snuggles, and rolling over for belly rubs. They’re also food-motivated, which makes them eager to please and easy to work with. Chocolate and Comet are potty trained, both walk nicely on leash next to one another, and happily share a crate at night.

They’re friendly and relaxed when meeting other dogs on walks and will gladly accept pets from new people. They do well with other dogs, and would be fine with older kids, and likely cats too.

It’s clear these two have a special bond, and we would love to see them continue life’s adventures together. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving, ready-made duo to fill your home with warmth and companionship, Chocolate and Comet might just be your perfect pair.

Meet Scooby!

Scooby is a laid-back sweetheart whose foster describes him as a true “chill love bug.” If you’re looking for a calm companion who enjoys relaxing by your side, Scooby might be your perfect match.

This easygoing guy has a low energy level and is happiest when he’s lounging, snoozing, or hanging out near his people. He especially loves sunbathing and will happily soak up the warmth while you go about your day. Scooby is affectionate without being clingy—he enjoys being close but also settles nicely and relaxes on his own.

When guests come into the home, Scooby greets them with a very calm, polite demeanor. He doesn’t jump, bark, or rush the door—he simply approaches in a relaxed way and is friendly with new people.

Scooby is house trained and crate trained, and he actually loves his crate, treating it like his own cozy retreat. He also knows some basic commands and is continuing to settle into foster life, where his personality is continuing to blossom.

On walks, Scooby sometimes wants to greet other dogs, though he hasn’t encountered many yet. At the shelter, he was great with dogs his size in playgroups! He hasn’t met any kids yet, but because of his chill, laid back nature, he would likely do well with them.

Overall, Scooby is a gentle, mellow companion who enjoys the simple things in life: naps, sunshine, and being near his favorite humans. If you’re hoping for a calm, loving buddy to share your couch and your quiet moments, Scooby would love to meet you.

Meet Lucy!

Lucy is a petite, classic husky. She’s energetic, incredibly smart, sweet, and just mischievous enough to keep life interesting. She loves other dogs and especially enjoys ones that will run and play chase with her. Lucy is also very people-oriented and greets everyone like a friend. Whether you’re a stranger or family, she’s happy to come over, soak up affection, and melt right into your arms or lap. She is confident in new environments and adjusts quickly wherever she goes.

Lucy is fully crate trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. She is also very comfortable being left alone and has shown no signs of separation anxiety. When she settles into her crate, she relaxes quickly and often goes right to sleep.

When it’s playtime, Lucy is all in. She loves zooming around the yard, tossing toys into the air, and playing fetch. She’s great at bringing the ball right back to your hand and is always ready for another round. Lucy is a quick learner who enjoys little training sessions and anything that gives her mind something to do. Like many smart, curious huskies, she is known to counter surf if given the opportunity, so continued guidance and boundaries will help her thrive.

Meet Hercules!

Hercules is a 7-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux, also known as a French Mastiff, weighing about 100 pounds. True to his gentle nature, Hercules is a mellow, easygoing boy who enjoys the simple things in life.

Most of his days are happily spent lounging nearby, keeping his people company and soaking up the calm of the home. He enjoys getting out for a nice walk to stretch his legs and burn a little energy, then he’s perfectly content settling back in to relax for the rest of the day. Hercules also seems to really enjoy bath time.

He has shown himself to be gentle around larger animals, including other dogs, horses, and ponies. Small animals are not a good fit for him, and he does best in a home where he doesn’t have to be crated, as he prefers being able to relax freely.

Hercules is the kind of dog who just wants a peaceful place to call home, where he can spend his days enjoying good meals, gentle pets, and the quiet comfort of being loved. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger head, Hercules may be your guy.
