If you’re looking for some Chonka-Chonka Burning Love, then look no further than Oscar (Or Chunkasaurus Rex as his fosters call him.) Oscar is like that one gregarious uncle at family gatherings who happily makes his rounds greeting everyone, gets some food, and then retires in the other room for the rest of the night. He’s pretty independent, and you sometimes have to remind yourself that there’s a dog in the house, he’s so quiet.

His fosters have been able to leave the house for 3-4 hours at a time and not have to put him in a crate. He has been able to hang out in the bedroom without any worry that he’s going to be destructive.

Based on his size, his fosters aren’t sure if he’s heard the word “No” when it comes to dinner. However, he’s been eating his dog food while watching his fosters eat their own meals. He protested at first, but quickly gave up and preferred to just hang out in case something dropped on the floor.

Oscar prefers short walks. He is interested in other dogs but he prefers to do his business, sniff around, and then retreat back to the finer things in life – dog beds and naps. But he’ll always awaken from his slumber and show you his toys and get cuddles and belly rubs!

Oscar is big on size and big on affection. If you’re looking for an easygoing personality that doesn’t require a lot of handling, then you’ve found your perfect match.
