Meet Wilbur!
Wilbur is a 5.5-month-old bully/boxer mix puppy looking for an active home that’s ready for all the fun that comes with puppyhood. He currently weighs about 25 pounds and will likely grow into a medium-to-large-sized dog.
Wilbur is playful, goofy, and very smart. He loves learning new things and is the kind of puppy who genuinely enjoys training. He’s highly food motivated, eager to engage, and quick to pick up on what’s being asked of him. Whether he’s working on basic manners, exploring the world, or playing with his canine foster siblings, Wilbur is happiest when he has something to do.
He would thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and is committed to continued training, structure, exercise, and enrichment. Wilbur has the potential to excel in activities like obedience, trick training, or other dog sports that give him an outlet for both his brain and energy.
He’s currently being fostered around a cat and has been coexisting well. Nail trims and handling are easy when treats are involved, and he approaches most things with curiosity and enthusiasm.
